Hello dear friends,

This year marks Cleo Dee's fifth anniversary. It's been a a fantastic five years and I'm very grateful that this is what I get to do with my life. We're celebrating this milestone by introducing something new and epic that will be out on May Day (if you've ever ordered anything from Cleo Dee's check out your mailbox around that time for a surprise). Scott and I started collaborating on this starting with a brainstorming session during our snowy, treacherous, overnight drive from our third Renegade Holiday in Chicago. Right now we're checking out material samples, coming up with designs, prototypes and even doing some animation. Keep checking my journal and facebook for sneak peeks and make sure to check back on May 1st for the gigantic, life-changing reveal.

Because of this big to-do I have been pretty swamped. For the time being the Etsy shop is stocked with some classic squid designs and of course custom listings and I am working on new squids, brooches, pins and aprons. Hopefully you'll see us around your area selling our wares in person or check out the shop for all your cephalopodic needs.

This year is going to be big for Cleo Dee's. To mark the half-decade we'll be doing some special things here and there, so check back often. Thanks so much for your support and we look forward to doing this for a long time to come!
