Cleo Dee’s is run by Bethany Hockenberry.

She grew up in a small village in Central PA hanging out with her grandfather’s sheep and wishing for a pygmy goat (she’s still waiting).

She then traveled to Indiana, PA to attend IUP and received her bachelor of fine arts. Her concentration was Fibers with minors in Printmaking and Psychology.

She now resides in Southside Pittsburgh where she shares a studio with her equally artsy husband and cat (who focuses on performance art).

She is proud to say that she is actually using her college degree. Her squids are made solely by her, completely by hand. In her spare time she sews totes and patches and dabbles in embroidery.
